SWORD: ====== SHORT: a curved wolfheaded blade OTHER SHORT NOUNS: sword, blade LONG: Looking at this fine piece of smithian craftmanship, you see a perfectly balanced twohanded sword. The blade itself is slightly curved to add to stability combined with its low weight. The crossguard shows a wolfhead that seems to swallow the blade. The hilt promises a firm grip due to a delicate pattern of leather straps wound around it. COMPONENTS: BLADE: The blade of this sword is a delicate artwork of a real master. It has one razorsharp and a blunt side to allow easy dealing with every situation. Its polished material was folded many times, creating a faint black pattern all along the bloodgutter. Inlaid in this pattern you realize a large ammount of little green splinters of smaragd. Seems these splinters are responsible for the strange shimmer of the whole weapon. The material seems to be shining of its own as dark patterns all over the blade are engulfed by silvery material that sometimes even seems to pulsate with light. CROSSGUARD: The crossguard is shaped like a wolfs head. Its furr is dark and its face shining like the blade. The wolf shows its fangs as its open muzzle seems to swallow the blade. The eyes are done with small rubies which reflect the light with red sparkling. The form and size of the crossguard makes it a good companion in defending against directly aimed attack against the hands of the wielder. HILT The hilt is wrapped with a delicate pattern of thin leather straps The pattern itself and the material grant a firm, safe grip on this formidable weapon. The end of the hilt is prominated by a silvery looking pommel. POMMEL The end of the hilt is dominated by this silvery pommel. It looks like the furry back of the wolfen head of the crossguard.
